Pop Tabs and Hotel-size Shampoos and Lotions Please continue to save your pop tops and hotel shampoo/lotions throughout the year. The pop tops go to help the Ronald McDonald House and the shampoos are given to the Youth Emergency Service, for the youth on the streets. These are two easy, ongoing projects that help two agencies we have worked with several times in the past. You can bring these items to any Giving Circle meeting or contact Cathy Pasko. |
GIVING CIRCLE UPCOMING EVENTS: MARCH YOUTH EMERGENCY SERVICES We will be serving a meal on Wednesday, March 24 (Please note this is a date change). We will also be collecting items such as; blankets, pillows, flashlights, gift cards, snack items, bottled water, juice boxes, etc. More items on the "wish list" can be found at www.yesomaha.org. If you are interested in helping out contact Cathy Pasko. APRIL RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE We will be collecting donations from the "wish list" and serving a meal to families staying at the Ronald McDonald House on Wednesday, April 14. MAY NEBRASKA HUMANE SOCIETY We will be collecting donations from the "wish list" including blankets,towels, peanut butter, yarn, box fans, soft dog treats,cat food and kong toys. Contact Marion Meyer JUNE AMERCAN RED CROSS The Battle of the Badges Blood Drive is a friendly competition between the firefighters and police officers. On June 3, from 6:30 a,m, to 12:30 p.m., we will provide staffing for the check-in and canteen tables. |
| New Groups Forming! Come join the FUN! A new Daytime Bridge group is forming. For more information, contact Barbara Fazzini. A new "Anything Goes" Bunco group is forming. Call and join the group. Come to play when you can. If they have enough people, they will play Bunco - if there are not enough attending that night, they will do something else. No comittment required for substitutes!
